Performance Recognition:
Year end Safety Bonus based on years, 1-5, 6-10, 11-14 and 15 and up, of accident and injury free work performance
Drivers of the Month election receives $100.00 dollar bonus. Two recipients chosen each month
Roadside Inspections that result in zero violations issued a bonus as follows:
Level I - $140.00 dollars
Level II – $80.00 dollars
Level III – $40.00 dollars
Driver Qualifications:
Must be at least 22 and a half years old
One year CDL Class A driving experience and Intermodal (Rail) experience preferred but not mandatory
Pacella will look at applicants with little to no experience or recent truck driving school graduates with the stipulation that the applicant’s motor vehicle record is clear, or contains a maximum of one minor infraction, and applicant is willing to participate in a documented minimum 14 day training period (More training is available if needed); and at the discretion of Pacella Trucking Express
Applicant is subject to completing an application which can be done in person (Bring CDL, Medical Card, amd Current 30 day MVR - Public version), motor vehicle review and criminal background investigation, as part of the qualification process
Also as part of the qualification process, applicant is also subject to a road test and pre work drug screening
Applicant must possess an Illinois CDL unless applicant’s residence borders Wisconsin or Indiana
Equipment Qualifications:
No age limitation on owner operator’s equipment as long as the equipment is presentable, in good mechanical condition, and can perform the duties of the work applying for
Truck owner shall have in possession a current DOT appendix G annual inspection, registration, title or bill of sale and corporation papers if incorporated. In addition, a bob tail and physical damage policy is required ($1,000,000.00 limit on Bob Tail) unless the equipment owner chooses to sign up under the Pacella Trucking Express group plan explained in the highlights section.
Annual Appendix "G" inspections can be preformed at Pacella Trucking Express' facility at a competitive cost
All Fleet Owners amd Single-equiptment Owner Operators are required to be on a quarterly inspection schedule, to insure that equipment is being properly maintained and safe to operate
Fleet Owners (more than one truck), are required to be incorporated
Lease Agreements required for all Fleet Owner/Operators
